Early Patches Sampling Library
Setting the Settings
 prepare Your S2000 Sampler for use with a Midi Wind Controller
Before You can use the especially prepared CC2 programs that are on the Early Patches library with the Sampler You have to change some settings so that the Sampler can understand what the Wind Controller is going to tell him. It is easy. just follow the steps as indicated.

First hit the global button on the front panel. The global page will appear in the display.

Now hit the left page down button until You read the line 'Ext APM control' on the display.

The Wheel toggles now between BREATH,  FOOT or VOLUME.
  * Choose BREATH if Your Controller sends CC#2 controller data.
  * Choose VOLUME if Your Controller sends CC#7 controller data.
Note: If You select VOLUME  the midi volume slider in the GM mixer of your sequencer software will not function properly anymore because it uses the same controller messages.

You can store these settings by saving the AKAI OS to an empty floppy disk.

Thats it. Now load any CC2 Patch from the disk and start to play.

Beware: loading the OS will always reboot the sampler.
If you just want to recreate the global settings without resetting the sampler just load the entire volume which contains nothing but the global settings from the OS-disk.
