The KrossMod is a kind of analogish synth.
The two oscillators are used to cross modulate
several parameters:

• Crossfade Oscillator1/Oscillator2
• Pulse Width modulation
• Filter cutoff frequency

cross modulation amount is controlled by:

• The Global Envelope
  • NoteOn velocity
  • A continous controller (selectable)
• Local [CM Amt] Controllers

Modules and Controllers:

• [Volume] - global volume
• [PB range] - pitch bend range
• [Breath/Mod/AT] - selects the continous controller source
• [Osc1 Saw/Pulse],[Osc2 Saw/Pulse] - waveform selection for Oscillator 1 and 2
• [Detune] - Oscillator 1,2 detune
• [FB Control] - Feedback control. Use high values for harder attacks and more edgy sounds. Reduce when clipping gets too strong.

Amp + CM Env:

Amplitude and cross modulation envelope:

• [Vel Amt] - velocity amount.
  • hard right: amplitude is proportional to velocity value.
  • hard left: velocity has no influence.
• [CC Amt] - continous controller amount.
• [Env Amt] - envelolpe amount.
  • when panned hard left:
    • Attack = 0
    • No Decay
    • Sustain = 1
    • Release = 0
  • panned hard right:
    • Settings of the of the [A],[D],[S],[R] knob are valid.
• [A],[D],[S],[R] - envelope settings

Amp Key Track:

Signal amplitude key tracking.

Duration Key Track:

Envelope duration key tracking.

This Patch is named Pueblo. Not because of it's sound. It's just that the shape of the waveform reminded me of a central american pueblo building.

Mod Limiter:

Before the output signal is used as cross modulation controller it passes a limiter to set the signal amplitude to -1 ... 1

• [Release] - limiter release time
• [Mute] - Mute Level. (no function in this ensemble, ignore)

Filter:

The oscillator 1 signal can optionally be filtered.

• [Color] - filter cutoff
• [CC Amt] - continous controller amount on the [Color] parameter
• [Q] - filter quality
• [CM Amt] - cross modulation amount
• [Att] - local envelope attack

PulseWidth:

Pulse width modulation control

• [osc1],[osc2] - switches pulse width modulation on/off for oscillator 1/2
• [CM Amt] - cross modulation amount
• [Att] - local envelope attack

CrossFade:

Crossfade control

• [Filt/Dry/Zero/Off] - crossfade source selection
  • Filt - Osc1 filtered with Osc2
  • Dry - Osc1 dry with Osc2
  • Zero - Osc1 filtered with a zero signal
  • Off - Osc1 filtered passes the module unchanged.
• [CM Amt] - cross modulation amount
• [Att] - local envelope attack
